How to Craft Weapons Fast

The fastest path from basic gear to upgraded loadout in One More Delve.

Last updated:

Crafting efficiency is the primary driver of character power in One More Delve. This guide covers how to acquire blueprints, farm materials, and manage your forge workflow to upgrade your loadout as fast as possible.

Blueprint Acquisition

Blueprints drop from enemies and boss chests. There is no way to purchase blueprints — you must find them through dungeon runs.

Key points:

  • Boss chests guarantee at least one blueprint
  • Higher dungeon levels have better blueprint drop rates
  • Blueprints are not shared between co-op players — each must find their own

What to Prioritize

Craft weapons before armor early game. Damage upgrades kill enemies faster, which prevents more damage than armor would absorb.

Priority order:

  1. Your primary weapon (highest damage upgrade available)
  2. Shield upgrade (if running sword and shield)
  3. Armor pieces (helm and chest first)
  4. Secondary weapon upgrades

Material Farming

Crystals are the primary crafting material. Farm them in the lowest dungeon level where you can comfortably clear rooms. Dungeon 1 is fast to clear and yields sufficient early-game crystals.

Efficient Run Pattern

  1. Enter Dungeon 1.
  2. Clear all rooms systematically.
  3. Mine every crystal you see — do not skip any.
  4. Defeat the boss for guaranteed blueprint.
  5. Exit and bank loot at the forge.
  6. Repeat.

This pattern can be completed in approximately 20 minutes per run and yields both crafting materials and blueprint progress.

Forge Workflow

The forge crafting process:

  1. Walk to the forge in the social hub.
  2. Select the blueprint you want to craft.
  3. Check material cost.
  4. Pick up the hammer.
  5. Hammer the anvil until the item is complete.

After crafting, do not forget to visit the armory to equip your new item. Forgetting to equip crafted gear is the most common reason players feel underpowered despite having crafted upgrades.

Upgrading vs. Crafting New Items

If you have a weapon blueprint, compare the upgraded version of your current weapon versus a new weapon. Sometimes upgrading your existing weapon costs fewer materials than crafting a new one. Always check both options before spending materials.
