Attack Patterns
Charge + Overhead Combo
The Orc Warlord’s signature move. It charges in a straight line, then immediately follows up with an overhead slam. The timing window between the two attacks is approximately 0.5 seconds.
- Counter: Block the charge with a shield, then immediately raise your shield again for the overhead. Alternatively, dodge laterally twice in quick succession.
Sweeping Slash
A wide horizontal arc that covers approximately 180 degrees in front of the boss. Most dangerous when you are positioned directly in front of the boss.
- Counter: Move behind the boss during the wind-up animation. The attack misses entirely if you are behind the boss at the moment of impact.
Area Stomp
The boss stomps the ground, creating a small area-of-effect shockwave. Low damage but staggers you briefly.
- Counter: Jump or sidestep. The stagger is brief but can chain into a lethal combo if you are already at low health.
Strategy
Opening
Open identically to the Dungeon 1 boss: dump your full mana pool immediately. This applies approximately 20-25% of the boss’s total health in burst damage before the fight truly begins.
Mid-Phase
Maintain the boss directly in front of you. Never let the boss get behind you — the Sweeping Slash is nearly impossible to see from behind and will deal heavy damage.
Keep your shield up at all times when in the boss’s attack range. Focus on countering after the boss finishes an attack combo rather than attempting to preemptively attack.
Final Phase (Below 30% Health)
The boss becomes more aggressive and its attack combo extends to 4 hits. Do not get greedy. Wait for the full combo to finish before attempting a single hit.
In co-op, assign the tank to maintain boss aggro while the mage provides burst and the third player handles any adds that spawn.
Loot
The Dungeon 2 boss chest guarantees a rare-tier weapon or armor blueprint. This is the primary source of Dungeon 2-level gear and the first boss chest worth prioritizing over standard enemy drops.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions about One More Delve.
What enemy is the Dungeon 2 boss?
The Dungeon 2 boss is the Orc Warlord — a large, armored orc wielding a two-handed greataxe. It is significantly larger and slower than the Dungeon 1 Goblin Warlord.
Is the Dungeon 2 boss harder than Dungeon 1?
Yes. The Orc Warlord has approximately 3x the health of the Goblin Warlord and introduces the Charge + Overhead combo, a two-part attack sequence that is harder to dodge than any Dungeon 1 boss attack.
What loadout is best for this fight?
Sword and shield is the most reliable loadout for the Dungeon 2 boss. The shield allows you to block the overhead slam, which cannot be reliably dodged in solo play. Magic burst opening remains the recommended strategy.
